The summer of 2006 was incredible.  Camp Northland-B'nai Brith was lucky to escape the worst of the big storm of August 3rd.  Although nearby camps suffered for almost a week without hydro, NBB had power back after only 24 hours, and only one tree fell in camp!

Our Friends of NBB Weekend had this reaction from one of our participants:

"I just wanted to say that the weekend was great.
 It appeared that there were many more people there this year. It was really nice to see, especially some new families with kids and recent alumni. I also thought the staff was very good... polite and quite friendly.

There was not a single piece of paper on the ground and I can assure you I covered a lot of territory. As for the food it really was very good. I loved the fondue machines. My favorite is chocolate covered strawberries.

 In closing, a number of people thought it was the best "Friends" weekend yet. The weekend means a great deal to many of us who return year after year. It also happens to be an excellent opportunity to establish new relationships."
