Either way, we cannot stress enough how important it is to review your ketubah text with your wedding officiant.  He or she may have particular desires for your ketubah text and it is best not to be surprised by this on your wedding day!

Signatures on the Ketubah
Only two witnesses are required to sign the ketubah.  Tradition states that these two witnesses be adults who are religiously observant and are not related by blood or marriage to the couple.  Many couples have chosen to include extra witness lines on their ketubah in order to honor close friends and family members.  One couple even requested sufficient signature lines for each of their guests to sign the ketubah!  Whatever your preference, be sure to check with you officiant.  Similar to the ketubah text, he or she may have particular requirements for your witness lines and who may sign them.
